Connie King | Founder
Connie King is a spirited advocate for social causes. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Welfare in 1983. In addition, Connie King earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from CSUN, which empowered her to work with at Risk Youth for California Youth Authority.
In 1992, after the riots that plagued the city of Los Angeles, Connie founded Passages to Success, a non-profit organization working with At-Risk Youth. As a business owner, Connie extended her reach by teaching women in low-income communities the art of floral arrangements and how they can turn it into a business. This also inspired her event and meeting planning business consultant service, Bon’Aire Affairs. Connie’s goal is to strike a balance of equality amongst races, ethnicity, and backgrounds by revolutionizing the traditional paradigms found amongst non-profit organizations, inspiring unprecedented change.

Connie founded Black America Resource Directory, an online platform containing services nationwide to help address problems associated with social services, humanitarian assistance, business, and even wealth-building opportunities. It was her experience as a graphic designer combined with creating her own website that gave Connie the tools required to build an online directory.
